The team at Greenwoods Long-Term Care and Braehaven Assisted Living is very pleased to welcome back visitors to the residences.
Visits do not need to be scheduled but social visits must occur during the regular visiting hours.
- Greenwoods Visiting Hours 10.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
- Braehaven Visiting Hours 10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m.
The above visiting times are for social visits only. Essential visits will still be possible at all times as per the current protocols.
All visitors to Greenwoods and Braehaven must be screened and signed in upon arrival. Please wait in reception for a Resident Ambassador or Receptionist to greet you. All visitors must provide proof of double vaccination, answer screening questions regarding COVID symptoms and test negative for COVID within 48 hours of visit. Testing is done on site or you may test at home and declare your negative result during the screening process.
All visitors must wear a mask while moving through the common areas.
Visitors who are fully vaccinated (i.e. two weeks post their second dose) may take their mask off once in direct contact with the resident they are visiting. Smiles can be full on and not just through the eyes!
“Named by officers of the Hudson’s Bay Company for the cold and briny salt water springs on the north end of the island, Saltspring Island is the largest, most populated, and most visited of the Southern Gulf Islands. The setting is West Coast Canadian; forested islands, wide meadows and beautiful landscapes surrounded by emerald ocean and wonderful vistas.”
