It’s June – Greenwoods’ birthday month, and time to get out in the garden!
Our elder residents love spending time outdoors among the flowers, and this year we need to replace our aging exterior wooden fencing to keep our outdoor spaces safe and tranquil.
Our perimeter fence does much more than mark a border. For our residents, it is a protective boundary that keeps them safe, and preserves their privacy when they enjoy outdoor activities, family visits and time spent in our extensive patio gardens. For our residents living with memory challenges, it’s especially valuable to help keep our outdoor spaces quiet and calm. As a highly visual part of our outdoor environment, an attractive, durable new fence will help keep Greenwoods the safe, peaceful and welcoming home it has been for nearly 50 years.
Information for Donors
Greenwoods Eldercare is a community-based, non-profit society that owns and manages the Greenwoods Long-Term Care and Braehaven Assisted Living facilities, as well as providing community services such as Meals-on-Wheels, Respite Care, and an Adult Day Program. We depend on donations to supplement our basic operational funding as an Island Health affiliate.
Where do Greenwoods donations go?
Community donations are used in a variety of ways that add to the quality of life for Greenwoods and Braehaven residents. This may include priorities such as building improvements; upgrades to equipment and furnishings; enhancements to resident comforts and environment; and professional development for our dedicated staff. Your dollars are always applied to the area of greatest need.
How do I donate?
